Expert review of El Relingue
For almost seven years, owner José Ramón Gastaldi has been bringing authentic dishes from his homeland (Argentina) to El Religue, to the delight of almost everyone. If you want the tenderest cuts of Argentinean steak, cooked to perfection, you’ll love this charming restaurant which has bags of Latin American spirit.
So, you could go for the delicious pasta dishes, lemon chicken or the breaded beef escalope, for example; but I implore you to go for the Argentinean barbecue. The steaks, ribs, chops and fillets are so good you will want them never to end. There’s also a good selection of seafood. Everything comes with hearty vegetable sides including oven-baked jacket potatoes and garlic spinach.
It’s relaxed, upbeat and fun. Many local Argentine families head here, which is always a good sign, and you’ll see - and hear - them sharing huge meat platters.
The staff are chirpy and smiley, but not overly gushing.
In a pleasant residential suburb, it's five minutes from the marina.
Dinner for two will be about 60 euros in total.
